John 6:35

THE BREAD OF LIFE

HE IS GOD IN THE FLESH

32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”

35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life.  He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will [f]by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Is JESUS

STILL ALIVE

How can I be certain Jesus is who he says he is? This is a question that many people are challenged with when the desire begins to form inside their hearts to know who Jesus truly is.

Many times this over analyzing of this question, which in reality is a authentic question and concern; will cause you to miss God in faith and he will not reveal himself to you.

Keep your heart and mind willing to receive and learn. Dig into the scriptures and the Lord will reveal himself to you; by the power of the Holy Spirit. If you have just a little faith and a desire to genuinely know and seek Jesus ; He will show up.

John 14 : 6

THE WAY

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

THE TRUTH

THE LIFE

— John 15 : 1

15 I am the true vine , and My Father is the vinedresser.

Why would Jesus compare himself to something a simple as a vine? Why not choose to describe himself as someone magnificent? Why a vine and what is a vine dresser?

  • Growth and Abundance:The vine's capacity to climb and produce plentiful fruit like grapes signifies prosperity, fertility, and the cycle of life in many cultures.
  • Interconnectedness:The way a vine spreads and intertwines with its surroundings represents the idea of being connected to something larger than oneself, often used to symbolize community or unity.
  • Spiritual Connection (Christianity):In the Bible, Jesus uses the metaphor of "I am the vine, you are the branches" (John 15:5) to illustrate the importance of staying connected to him to receive spiritual nourishment and bear good fruit.
  • Perseverance and Strength:A vine's ability to grow in challenging environments symbolizes resilience and overcoming obstacles.
  • Renewal and Rebirth:In some contexts, the vine is associated with the cycle of seasons and the idea of renewal, particularly with the springtime growth of new shoots.

A vinedresse r is, in this case, its GOD!

  1. a person who prunes , trains , and cultivates   vines .
